WINDING ADJUSTMENT DEVICE FOR SLITTER LINE OF ALUMINIUM COIL

PURPOSE:To prevent a wound aluminium plate from being put under excessive stress by maintaining a small and constant angle of winding of the aluminium plate wound on a slitted winding core. CONSTITUTION:When the diameter of a winding coil II is small, a bridle roll R is moved forward to a position (b) to reduce an angle alpha of winding. This prevents an aluminium plate from being put under excessive stress. When the coil II grows larger gradually, the roll R is slowly moved backward and the angle alpha of winding is adjusted to be about constant. When the coil II is large, the bridle roll R is adjusted to a position shown by (a) and the angle alpha is adjusted.
