Self-diagnosing device of fluid injection type loom

A fluid jet loom has an electronic unit diagnosing weft picking faults by comparing actual times with target times. Jet loom faulty picking detection appts. (1) has sensors (16,17,18) spaced along the picking path, a weft arrival sensor (14) which detects the drum. The values of signals from the sensors are compared with target values by an arithmetic and logic unit, specifically comprising a CPU, a RAM, and a VDU. Faulty picking causes are diagnosed by the appts. for rapid correction to be effected.
