Process for the production of a drag chain, in particular for drag-line excavators, the chain links of which have a first chain-link arc, a second chain-link arc and an intermediate web. The second chain-link arc is then formed by bending part of the longer leg and the free end of the said arc is connected to the free end of the shorter leg, which free end forms a connection piece.
