COAL AND WATER SLURRY BURNING BOILER

PURPOSE:To promote the ignition by injecting fine spray particles by providing an annular premixing chamber where coal and water slurry is preliminarily mixed with atomizing medium before they are mixed in the mixing chamber. CONSTITUTION:The premixing chamber 113 in which coal and water slurry (CWM) contacts the atomizing medium is an annular chamber whose large- diameter inner circumferential wall is the section of a pipe which opens to the center of the nozzle tip 104 and whose small diameter circumferential outer wall is the nozzle tip 105. A CWM supply hole 112 is drilled in said large- diameter inner circumferential wall, and an atomizing medium supply hole 111 is disposed upstream of the premixing chamber 113. The mixing chamber 114 is connected to the downstream side of the premixing chamber 113. By using the annular premixing chamber 113, the mixing of CWM and atomizing medium is promoted, and the growth of coarse particles due to a localized reduction of gas-liquid flow rate ratio can effectively be prevented. Further, since the CWM and atomizing medium can contact each other at a certain angle in the premixing chamber 113, there will be less adverse effects such as anplasticity and dilatancy on the CWM flow characteristics, creating fine particles.
