METAL MOLD FOR MANUFACTURING LARGE NUMBER OF MOLDING IN PLASTIC FORMING

PURPOSE:To form a rib for reinforcing to a runner section of a molding, prevent the deformation of the runner section and obviate the unevenness of a gate section in case of gate cutting by forming a groove along the longitudinal direction of an inner wall of a runner of a metal mold. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 9 are made up along the longitudinal direction of an inner wall of a runner 4. Since ribs 9' are built up to the runner sections 4' of moldings 6' manufactured in a large number, the deformation of the runner sections 4' is prevented, and the moldings 6' are kept in accurate arrangement. Thus, when the moldings 6' are cut and separated from gate sections 5', all moldings 6' are cut and parted from the same locations of each gate section 5', and the unevenness of the cut marks of the gate sections can be obviated.
