- 1 -Abstract of the disclosure:The present invention relates to a process fortreating anestrus in ewes and beef cattle, which com-prises treating an ewe or beef cattle with a gestagenhaving a protracted action for 4 to 16 days and, fol-lowing this treatment, administering LH-RH or an ana-logous compound of at least the same efficiency for 2to 6 days to bring about a LH plasma level sufficientto induce ovulation. The invention further relates tothe use of gestagens and LH-RH or analogous compoundsthereof in the treatment of anestrus in ewes or beefcattle.
