Abstract of the DisclosureA portable outboard motor foot control device havingadjustable cables characterized by a cable house which is adjacentto the foot pedal and from which the cable or cables extend, and aguide through which the cable or cables extend as they exit thecable house, the guide being adjustable to firmly set thedirection at which the cable or cables exit the cable house.Preferred embodiments include a drum frictionally held betweenopposed upright plates forming part of the cable house. Changesin the rotational orientation of the drum change the angle ofpassageways in the drum through which the cables pass.
