For this purpose, the roller 14 is guided in longitudinal displacement in a slide. The displacement of the slide is effected by means of a tensioning device 17, the total stroke is preferably limited. The tensioning device 17 does not allow a maximum voltage of the saw-blade 15 preferably predetermined, whatever the - to be of the operator in the adjustment. / p & & p & any excessive tension of the saw-blade 15, and the risks of deterioration, which result therefrom, is thus prevented.
