There is described a process for simultaneously causticising and dyeing polyester-cellulose blend fabrics with disperse and vat dyes by the thermosol-pad-steam process, wherein the fabric, after dyeing and thermosoling, is subjected to a causticising step and, after drying, is further treated in the usual manner.
