Colouring polyester-cellulose blend fabrics - using dye-baths or printing-pastes contg. metal phthalocyanine-forming systems

Process for dyeing or printing polyester/cellulose blend fabrics is carried out by using dye baths or printing pastes contg. (a) systems capable of forming metal-contg. phthalocyanines, (b) surfactants, (c) NH3 or its derivs. and opt. (d) stabilisers, (e) a carrier which does not affect systems (a), and (f) an acid-separator. Dyeing and printing blends contg. aromatic polyesters, e.g. polyethylene terephthalate and cotton or regenerated cellulose. Process required only one type of dye for two basically different fibres.
