The invention relates to a sealing flap for a tap intended to connect a vessel containing a liquefied gas to means using gas in liquid phase. The sealing flap 35 of the tap comprises an internal valve 88, 76 which is normally closed, employing an elastically compressible ball 88 housed in a cavity 86 into which there opens, in the form of a sealing seat 76, a section of pipe 68 opening moreover into a peripheral face 41 of the piston; in a zone 89 of the cavity 86 which is offset with respect to the sealing seat 76 there opens another section of pipes 69 opening moreover into a flap zone situated inside the sealing seat 14 of the tap when the sealing flap 35 interacts with this sealing seat 14. The sealing flap 35 may thus have the same dimensions as a sealing flap without a valve, while at the same time offering increased safety. IMAGE
