The invention relates to a tap-off connector intended to be placed in any position along a coaxial cable 1, in the region of a notch 14 made beforehand in this cable, as far as its core, as well as a closure member provided to be substituted therefor in the event of removal. The connector comprises two complementary parts 2, 3 between which the coaxial cable is positioned, the connection with the core of the cable is performed by a connection component in the notch, and the connection with the outer cylindrical conductor is made by conducting spikes 5 housed in a positioning groove of one of the complementary parts. The connector comprises an arrangement 25 for positioning the cable, interacting with the notch, in order to immobilise the latter in a position enabling the connection component to penetrate as far as the core of the cable; the connection component is a flexible component, the end of which for contact with the core is subjected to the action of a screw 9, for screwing home, which pushes it in contact, from a rest position enabling the cable to be prepositioned. The closure member is a conducting, elastic, metal sleeve, slit longitudinally, which is locked in place above the notch. IMAGE
