Improved apparatus making it possible to automatically show films, especially advertising films, within transport vehicles, the said apparatus consisting of a compact assembly arranged in an enclosure mounted so as to be fixed within the vehicle, the said assembly including a video cassette player 2, a visual display screen 3 and sound replay means 4. It is characterised in that: - the electrical current power supply is produced directly from the battery 6 of the vehicle, in such a way that at least the power supply to the tape player 2 is done at a voltage lower than the nominal output voltage of the said battery 6; - the switch-on command for the film-show assembly is produced automatically as soon as the ignition key 7 of the vehicle is actuated.
