WATERRINNOIL TYPE EMULSIFIER COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To impart all the conditions as an emulsifier such as long-period preserving stability, freeze-melt stability and good emulsifying power to the titled composition, by using a hydrophilic sugar fatty acid ester, a polyhydric alcohol, and, according to necessity, a hydrophilic substance as an HLB-regulating agent simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:By using a hydrophilic sugar fatty acid ester such as an oil-insoluble higher fatty acid ester, a polyhydric alcohol such as glycerine and, moreover, according to necessity, a hydrophilic substance such as butyl alcohol simultaneously, these substances are made lipophilic by the mutual action and dissolues in an oil. If the HLB of this water-in-oil type emulsifier composition is selected to an appropriate range, an emulsion with excellent long-period preserving stability is prepared and this emulsifier composition is a novel water-in-oil type emulsifier having an excellent feature with reduced viscosity difference with temp. and excellent freeze- melt stability not shown by a conventional emulsifier.
