A planetary gear mechanism, etc., is provided in such a manner as to rotate in one revolution in opposite direction when the rotary member 4 is rotated in one revolution. A dividing claw 9 is made to extend toward the seedling holding table 10 by attaching a transplantation ram 8 to each transplantation shaft 7. The tip end part of the dividing claw 9 is staggered by a proper dimension S in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 3 from the base of the transplantation ram 8 when viewed from the top. The distance between the shafts 3 and 7 can be shortened by this structure.
