ADHESION IMPROVER AND AGRICULTURAL CHEMICAL DUST HAVING EXCELLENT ADHESION

PURPOSE:To obtain an agricultural chemical dust having extremely improved adhesion to plants, not providing phytotoxicity, showing excellent herbicidal effects of active ingredient of agricultural chemical, being readily prepared, having excellent adhesion, containing polymethyl methacrylate as an adhesion improver for agricultural chemical dust. CONSTITUTION:An agricultural chemical dust containing pthalide, etc., a fungi cide is blended with polymethyl methacrylate as an adhesion improver to give an agricultural chemical dust having excellent adhesion to plants. The amount of polymethyl methacrylate added is =0.05wt.%, preferably 0.05-5wt.% based on the total amount of the agricultural chemical dust. Addition of polymethyl methacrylate requires no specific device nor method, preparation of the agricul tural chemical may be produced by a conventional procedure and active ingredients of the agricultural chemical are simultaneously blended with a carri er of mineral substance and the adhesion improver of polymethyl methacrylate or the surface of the particles of active ingredients of solid agricultural chemical is treated with polymethyl acrylate and the active ingredients are blended with the above-mentioned adhesion improver by hammer mill, etc.
