REVERSAL METHOD AND APPARATUS OF SOCKS IN SOCKS TOE SEWING MACHINE

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject apparatus having a high sewing efficiency by sucking a sock from the tiptoe part into a cylindrical suction pipe, turning back the top of the sock to the outside of the suction pipe, turning the sock inside out, holding the sock on a differential needle of a sewing machine, sewing the sock, sucking the sock into the suction pipe again and turning the sock inside out to show the surface side. CONSTITUTION: Socks are sucked from the tiptoes into the interiors of cylindrical suction pipes 22 arranged side by side at proper intervals right below differential needles 11 of a rotary dial type tiptoe sewing machine 10. The top parts of the socks are turned back to the outsides of the suction pipes 22, made into an inside out state, the socks are inserted into the differential needles 11 of the sewing machine 10 and sewing stitch parts are retained. In this state, the socks are sewed by the sewing machine 10, the socks are removed from the differential needles 11, the socks are sucked into the suction pipes 22 again and the socks are inverted to the face side so that the operation of turning inside out → sewing →inversion to the face side are carried out efficiently and continuously and the efficiency of sewing operation can be improved.
