A paint or lacquer spraying cabin is constructed of standard items, e.g. a filter ceiling (1), supported on four hollow ducts (2). The box-shaped ceiling includes ventilators, valves and filters. Air is drawn through four suction filters (3) in each base of the hollow ducts. The side walls of the cabin may have fire resistant partition curtains or sandwich panels (4). Front and rear openings may have a swing or folding door arrangement.
