Closure element in conjunction with a ventilation system and air-treatment system for cleaning contaminated outside air flows for disaster shelters. The invention relates to a closure element which comprises a ventilation system with the air treatment and the associated energy supply. The fuel store lasts for 14 days. By utilising the invention, the existing underground garages can, for the first time, be developed cost-effectively to form disaster shelters. On application of the invention, considerable public resources can be saved.
