In the case of utility vehicles in which the driver's seat is mounted on a support which can be rotated through 180@ for the purpose of being able to use the vehicle in pull or push mode, and a steering column, which supports the steering device, is articulated about a horizontal transverse spindle on the support, the support previously extended a good distance into the leg room where it represented a considerable obstacle to the freedom of movement of the driver. The intention accordingly is to make available a more comfortable operator's platform for utility vehicles of this type. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that that boundary of the support (7) which faces the steering column (9), lies, when seen in the direction of travel, behind the front boundary surface (8a) of the seat (8) and that that end region (9b) of the steering column (9) which is articulated on the support (7), is designed in a manner such that its surface which faces the steering wheel (10) is flat and in the operational position of the steering column (9) is accommodated recessed in a recess (15) in the floor (13) of the operator's platform in a manner such that it is at least approximately level with the surface.
