ADDRESS FAULT DETECTION METHOD IN MULTIPLEX SIGNAL TRANSMISSION, AND MULTIPLEX SIGNAL TRANSMISSION REPEATER AND MULTIPLEX SIGNAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM USING THE METHOD

PURPOSE:To detect a fault of a set address early by discriminating periodically the coincidence between an address set with an address set section and an address stored in a memory and outputting a fault signal when the addresses are dissident. CONSTITUTION:Initial setting is applied at application of a repeater 1 or at reset, an address set by an address setting section 1d is stored in a memory 1f. Then a timer 1e is stated and the presence of a multiplex signal with an address signal added thereto from a receiver is monitored and when the address signal exists, the address is collated with the address stored in the memory 1f and required signal processing is applied. On the other hand, when the timer 1e expires, the address of the address setting section 1d is read to discriminate the coincidence with the address stored in the memory 1f. When the address is dissident, an address fault signal is outputted.
