PURPOSE:To remove the drawing dead space of a paper driving type automatic drawing machine by coating one surface of dummy paper with paste and bonding said paper to one end of commercial drawing paper having a standard dimension. CONSTITUTION:One end part of dummy paper 22 whose lateral width is almost same to that of drawing paper 20 and whose longitudinal width is shorter than that of the drawing paper 20 is bonded to one end part of the commercial drawing paper having a standard dimension. Paste 24 composed of a commercial synthetic rubber adhesive capable of being bonded and released repeatedly is applied to one surface of the dummy paper 22 over a predetermined range. The drawing paper 20 having the dummy paper 22 bonded thereto becomes a state extended in its longitudinal width at one end thereof by the dummy paper and, when this drawing paper is used in an automatic drawing machine, since the dummy paper 20 is held between rollers 8, 10 even when the drawing paper 20 is positioned directly under a pen 14, the drawing paper 20 is held to a state possible in feed control due to the rollers 8, 10. Therefore, drawing can be applied to the entire region of the drawing paper 20 by the pen 14.
