PURPOSE:To facilitate robot operation by actuating a pressure device on a predetermined position of terminals that are to be supplied in turn between caulking claws, and by placing a cam between both levers for a caulking to be formed on the predetermined position by means of lever action of the lever. CONSTITUTION:An insertion part 2 of a terminal 1 that is supplied to a guide plate 7 is placed between caulking claws 11, 11' opposed to each other. By sending compressed air in an air chamber 21 of a cylinder device 18, a piston 19 is elevated so as to press-fit levers 10 between opposed slopes 13. Both levers 10 are opened wide by the slope 15 of the cam 14, and the caulking claws 11, 11' on the upper end are moved, for caulking to the formed by pushing the outside of the insertion part 2. When the air chamber 21 of the cylinder 18 is opened and compressed air is sent in an air chamber 20 at the same time, the piston 19 is moved in reverse, the cam 14 being withdrawn, and the caulking claws 11, 11' are released from the insertion part 2 by a spring 12.
