Method for attaching a doll's head to a stuffed doll's body

In this method, a synthetic, shrinkable thread, attached along the circumference of the neck opening of the doll's body, is subjected to a brief heat treatment after the doll's head has been inserted in the interior of the neck opening of the doll's body above the neck collar of the doll's head. The thread has a thermoshrinkage value of at least 25% and exhibits permanent shrinkage under heat treatment. By this means, an uncomplicated and reliable attachment is achieved which saves time and material whilst guaranteeing the required characteristics of use as well as an increased aesthetic effect of the overall product.
