Process which makes it possible to improve the solubility and digestibility of soya meal intended as feed for young animals

Process which makes it possible to produce soya meal of high solubility and high digestibility and which provides for the use of soya cake dissolved in water by powerful means of dispersion. This solution then being subjected to an enzymatic attack by proteolytic and cellulolytic enzymes and then dried in a spray-drying tower according to the spray system. Depending on the variants, the solution derived from the enzymatic attack may be enriched with liquid fatty materials or with liquid concentrated whey or with both liquid fatty materials and with liquid concentrated whey. Following these enrichments in desired proportions, the mixtures are dried in a spray-drying tower. The products obtained are intended to enter into the composition of milk-replacer feed for young animals and in particular for calves.
