METHOD OF OPEN CUTTING-EDGE PROPULSIVE CONSTRUCTION OF PIPE

PURPOSE:To prevent spring water, and to shorten the term of work by a method wherein a guide pipe is press-fitted from a starting shaft, a self-advancing piping machine, to which a cable with a cut-off plate is installed, is made to travel toward on arrival shaft and the cable is stretched and fixed, and succeeding pipes are joined successively and press-fitted. CONSTITUTION:A starting shaft 1 and an arrival shaft 2 are excavated, and a guide pipe 3 is press-fitted by an excavator 4 toward the arrival shaft 2 from the starting shaft 1. A self-advancing type piping machine 5, to the rear of which a cable 6 is mounted, is positioned in the guide pipe 3 and propelled in the ground while a cut-off plate 8 inserted to the cable 6 and the air cable 7 of the self-advancing type piping machine 5 is fitted into the rear port section of the guide pipe 3 and abutted against a starting port surface. The cable 6 is inserted along a conduit laying line, and the cable 6 is stretched and bound firmly. A succeeding pipe 9 is welded to the guide pipe 3 and press-fitted, and these guide pipe and the succeeding pipes 9 are disposed up to the arrival shaft 2. Accordingly, spring water can be prevented without changing the quality of the ground.
