MULTICOLOR DYEABLE PROCESSED YARN HAVING IMPROVED VARIABLE DENSITY CONTRAST

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the title textured yarn which is a false-twist textured yarn of a polyester thick and thin yarn, assuming a specific lightness difference between thick and thin parts with hard twist in the false twisting direction in dyeing under ordinary pressure and having a latent dye uptake difference and spun yarnlike feeling. CONSTITUTION:A polyester thick and thin yarn containing thick parts having a birefringence ratio within the range of 20X103-60X103 and thick parts having a birefringence ratio within the range of 100X103-140X103 is false-twist textured at 185 deg.C temperature and 125m/min texturing speed to afford the aimed multicolor dyeable textured yarn having =5 lightness difference expressed in terms of L values between the thick and thin parts obtained by pouring a knitted fabric of the false-twist textured yarn with hard twist at 10000-15000 twist coefficient (K) represented by the formula (De is the denier of the textured yarn) in the same direction as the that of false twisting in a dye liquor of 4% Eastman Polambdayester Blue GLF at 1:60 bath ratio, dyeing the knitted fabric while boiling the liquor under ordinary pressure for 60min and measuring the L values with a color difference meter CR-121 manufactured by Minolta Camera Co., Ltd.
