摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain a conductive polymer improved in electric conductivity, heat resistance and mechanical resistance by polymerizing a 3-alkylthiophene in a reaction medium containing a ferric salt, an alkyl halide and water. ;CONSTITUTION: 3-Alkylthiophene (A) is polymerized in a reaction medium comprising a ferric salt (B) (e.g. ferric chloride), 0.001-11, per g of component A, of an alkyl halide (e.g. chloroform) and 0.002-900 wt.%, based on component C, water (D) under conditions including a molar ratio of component D to component B of 0.01-6, a molar ratio of component B to component A of 1-25, a nitrogen atmosphere, a pressure of 0.1-10 bar and a temperature of 0-15°C to obtain a conductive polymer. A mixture comprising this polymer and PE or an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer is malaxated or hot-pressed to obtain a conductive device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO
