PURPOSE: To enable a pilot to quickly and accurately recognize an air route and a target body in a peripheral air area by making not a two-dimensional format supplied with numerical data tags but three-dimensional perspective graphics. CONSTITUTION: A range ring 22 having 12 reference spokes 24 indicates azimuths of 30 and is in a plane 26 parallel with the surface of the earth and is set to the same altitude as a reference airplane 28 itself. The altitude related to the reference airplane 28 in a displayed air route is transmitted by a perpendicular vector 30 having reference notched marks 32. The range ring 38 is placed in the plane 26 and helps to determine the distance of an actually existing air route designated by a circle 34. The direction of the change of the altitude is designated by symbols 35 to 37 in the other end part of each vector 30. Thus, the air route and the target body are quickly and accurately recognized.
