PURPOSE:To permit a toilet bowl to be washed effectively by providing a controller to adjust the valve travel of a flow regulating valve on the basis of output signals from a pressure sensor in such a way as to supply water at a flow rate closer to a preset flow rate pattern to a water supply port. CONSTITUTION:In a controller 15, whether operation is made for feces or urine is judged to determine the valve travel of a flow regulating valve 20 for a trap and also of a flow regulating valve 17 so that flow rates per unit time on the basis of the supply time of prewashing water and water by siphon as well as signals from a pressure sensor 19 become a given one. After the valve 17 is opened for ventilating water supply, the valve travel is further increased to make prewashing water supply. At the same time, the valve 20 is opened for ventilating water supply. As the same time as the valve 17 is closed, the valve 20 is greatly opened for water supply by siphon, and the valve 20 is then closed slightly for push-in water supply. The valve 20 is further closed and the valve 17 is opened for sealing water supply. Afterwards, the valve 17 is closed.
