PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency in the work of laying a lay-type floor tile by fixing a slide stopper to a floor board or floor bed by means of a fixing plate of the slide stopper, and then causing the protruding portion of the slide stopper to penetrate into the reverse face of the lay-type floor tile. CONSTITUTION:A slide stopper is formed by providing a protruding portion 2 integrally on a support body 1 provided with some fixing means 3. After the slide stopper is filed to a floor board 4 by the fixing means 3, a floor tile 6 is placed thereon and is pressed from above to cause the protruding portion 2 to penetrate into the floor tile 6, to lay the floor tile 6.
