PURPOSE:To release a worker from manual labor and shorten the working time by a method wherein the front tip of a carried newspaper is stopped by a stopper, and the newspaper, which is forcibly controlled from the rear end, is double-folded, and then a name band is wound on the further fourfolded newspaper, and the joint of the name band, a gummed tape is placed, and thus the strip-wrapped newspaper is carried out. CONSTITUTION:Newspapers, which are set in upper and lower stockers of a morning and evening papers simultaneous feeding device B1 for a newspaper carrying (feeding) device B, are simultaneously fed out by sponge stop rollers. The front tip of the carried newspaper is stopped by a stopper guide 19 at a jogger device B2, and the newspaper is forcibly controlled by a jogger guide 21 from the rear end. The forcibly controlled newspaper is double-folded by a first folding section C1 at a newspaper folding device C, and further the direction is changed by 90 deg. and sent to a second folding section C2 to be fourfolded. On the fourfolded newspaper, a name band is wound at a name band wrapping device D2, and a gummed tape is placed on the joint of the name band by a sealing device D3 (for which a gummed tape is used). The strip-wrapped newspaper is pinched by a carrying-out device E, and carried out by opening the device.
