PURPOSE:To simultaneously perform a large quantity of operating system OS revision jobs of a decentralized computer by performing the unitary control of the OS of the decentralized computer via a host computer and transmitting the OS revision information to the decentralized computer from the host computer. CONSTITUTION:A revision information fixing means 12 is provided into a host computer 1 and stores the OS revision information into an external storage device 14. A communication process means 11 of the computer 1 transmits the revision information stored in the means 12 to plural decentralized computers 2 of the same device type which are connected to the computer 1. A communication process means 21 of the computer 2 receives the report information sent from the means 11. Then a rising means 22 is provided into the computer 2 to store the report information received by the means 21 and to revise the OS of the computer 2. In such a constitution, a large quantity of OS revision jobs of the computer 2 can be carried out simultaneously.
