The present process consists in setting a first stainless steel envelope (42) axially on a second envelope of analogue shape and material, the first envelope being provided with a flange inlet (14) and the second one having slightly smaller dimensions, which allows the formation of an interstice between both envelopes. Between the bottoms (20, 22) of said envelopes there will be set a plate made of a good heat-conducing metal with a melting point inferior to that of steel. The bottoms of the envelopes and the plate are fixed together through commonly used devices and methods, so that the distance (S) between flanges (12, 14) of the envelopes is not longer than the thickness (S') of a ring (26, 36) that is coaxial to said envelopes and made of a metal with a inferior melting point than that of steel. After heating up said flange borders (12, 14) and after setting ring (26, 36) between them at a temperature nearing but not reaching the melting point of the ring metal, a shock pressure is exercised on the flange borders and on the ring, such that both flange borders are irreversibly sealed together. The present invention also concerns the pot (10) obtained with the process described above.
