The process described involves: choosing an assaying reagent the microparticles of which have at least one μ max substantially corresponding to a reading wavelength made possible by the reading apparatus; mixing the assaying reagent with the plurality of samples in a series of micro-cupulas housed in a micro-plate. Simultaneously incubating all said mixtures shaking said plate. Reading the plurality of results by placing the micro-plate in an automatic spectro-photometric micro-plate reader programmed on a reading wavelength adjacent to the μ max typical of the microparticles chosen. Applications: rapid assays of antigens or antibodies in a plurality of samples.
