The sealing profile (1) is made of flexible material. It is designed to fit into grooves in tunnel sections and consists of a one piece body (A) with projecting anchoring members (4, 5) joined together by a membrane (3). There may be a thickened region behind the membrane (3) with a series of perforations to increase its flexibility. The sectional thicknesses of the seating profiles are carefully chosen to give the required characteristics. USE/ADVANTAGE - The strength of the membrane corresponds to the average of the body members.
