The inflatable boat has a hull (1) made from plastics film which is impermeable to gas. The hull supports a crankshaft which has two pedals set at 180 deg. to each other in the middle portion. Each end of the crankshaft is supported in a bearing which is mounted in a housing containing a coupling. Each coupling connects a paddle wheel to the corresponding end of the crankshaft. The person operating the pedals can steer the boat by disconnecting the appropriate paddlewheel from the crankshaft. USE - Steerable inflatable boats.
