The machine for physiotherapeutic purposes has a frame (1) which supports a horizontal shaft (2). A crank (3,5) is mounted at each end of the shaft (2) and a pedal (6,7) is pivoted at the end of each crank. The crank (5) is secured to the shaft (2) by a device (4) which enables the crank (5) to be disconnected so that it remains stationary whilst the other crank (3) is rotated. This feature enables both pedals (6,7) to be brought simultaneously to their lowest positions so that the attachment of the patient's feet to the pedals is made easier. USE - Physiotherapy.
