X-RAY TUBE WITH ROTATING ANODE SUSPENDED BY ACTIVE MAGNETIC BEARINGS AND COOLED BY FLUID CIRCULATION

摘要

PURPOSE: To establish a seal properly by installing a seal ring pinchedly between a float sleeve and a casing, and furnishing an auxiliary bearing pinchedly between a slide ring and the float sleeve. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic fluid seal 101 is mounted on a float sleeve 102 fitted on a rotor 2 through bearings 121 and 122 in such a way as not rotating relative to a casing 1 and confronting it 1 with a certain gap reserved in between. Seals 125 and 126 are pinched between the float sleeve 102 and casing 1. An end member 24 of a rotor 2 bounding a passage 21 for supplying fluid to an anode 3 is put in slide contact with a slide ring 103 fitted slidably in the axial direction relative to the float sleeve 102 and impossibly to make relative rotation with the float ring 102 where a graphite ring 104 is interposed. Therein a magnetic fluid seal 101 is mounted round a shaft 121 to drive the rotary anode 3 through the float ring 102. This ensures that a seal of good workmanship is obtained.
