PURPOSE: To enable the outer peripheral grinding of a workpiece which is high in surface speed, in particular, by providing a nozzle supplying liquid for cooling and lubricating with a flow rate regulating valve and adjusting the direction. CONSTITUTION: A liquid supply member 1 includes a nozzle 6, the center line extends in a radial shape for a grinding wheel 3, the member 1 has an internal cavity and the member 1 is arranged closely to an outer peripheral surface of the grinding wheel 3. The nozzle 6 is provided with a valve member 9 which is slidably arranged on a side surface facing in the direction of revolution R of the outer peripheral surface of the grinding wheel 3 and flow rate of a coolant and liquid for lubrication is controlled by a member 10. A lip 8 comes into contact with the grinding wheel 3 and is connected with an eccentric mechanism 11 for finely adjusting the lip 8 along an induction slot 12. The inside of a funnel shaped nozzle 6 becomes low pressure, the coolant and lubricant are filled. When the nozzle 6 is revolved, the nozzle 6 is capable of mounting liquid floating from the inside on the outer periphery of the grinding wheel 3 even at high speed.
