Silicone rubber (I) contg. a linear polysiloxane (II) of structure R3Si-(OSiR'R')x-(OSiR"R")x-OSiR3 (IIA) or R3Si-(OSiR'R')x-(OSiR'R")x-OSiR3 (IIB) as internal release agent is useful for the prodn. of packers for sealing damaged channel systems; R = Me or Ph; R' = Me; R" = Ph; the values of x and y are such that (II) has viscosity 50-2000 mPa.s at 25 deg.C and ratio Me; Ph = 2.5-0.6. Pref. (I) contains 0.5-10% (II) as pure mould release agent.
