CONSTITUTION:In the internally chilling method of the hollow ceramic body 2 including core 1 forming process, internally chilling process with molten metal 3 and releasing process from mold, the ratio of the coefficient of thermal expansion alpha for the core sand to the coefficient of thermal expansion beta for the hollow ceramic body is made to 3alpha/beta15, and after cooling the ceramic body packed with the core to the room temp., the internally chilling process is executed. By this method, at the time of executing the internally chilling process to the hollow ceramic body usable for high temp. gas pipe, etc., as the heat resistant combined pipe, the development of trouble, such as crazing, cracking, can be prevented.
