METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR MEASURING DIAMETER OF PILE HOLE OF CAST-IN-PLACE PILE

PURPOSE:To enable simultaneous measurement of the diameter and the depth of a pile hole by a method wherein distances to the inner wall of the pile hole are measured radially from the central part of the pile hole at a plurality of places and the diameter of the pile hole is calculated from measured values, while the depth from a pile hole entrance to a measuring position is measured. CONSTITUTION:The base end 2a of a shaft rod 2 of a pile hole diameter measuring apparatus 16 is joined to the force end of an excavation rod 1 and the apparatus is inserted into a pile hole 18 with the rod 1 lowered. On the occasion, roller parts 6 of arm rods 5 are brought into contact with the inner wall 19 of the pile hole by springs 11. Next, the angle of opening of the arm rod at this point is transmitted as displacement to a displacement meter 8 through a connecting rod 10 and an operat ing rod 10 and a distance from the central axis of the shaft rod 2 to the inner wall 19 of the pile hole is measured. Distances from the center of the shaft rod 2 to the inner wall of the pile hole are measured at three places from the angles of opening of the three arm rods 5 and the diameter of the pile hole is calculated. At the same time, the amount of insertion of the apparatus 16 in the pile hole 18 is measured by an insertion amount measuring device on the rod 1 and the depth of the pile hole from the entrance of the pile hole to this point is calculated.
