Indicating panel with map display

The panel (1), which enables the acquisition of information and/or the localisation of selected points (2) on a map (3), comprises two portions. One portion (7) is used to display the map, while the second (9) carries graphics, legends, references (11), and remarks relating to the selected points. The selected points are connected to at least one corresp. reference by a bundle of fibre optics (10). An optical pen (13) can also be included to transmit a light pulse to the access ends (14) of the fibre optics.
