The invention relates to a capacitive filter arrangement for removing impulsive shaft voltages from a turbo-alternator, being of a type which comprises pairs of or single capacitors connected in parallel between, on the one side, the supply brushes for the excitation winding, and on the other side, a ground clamp.;In the inventive arrangement, said capacitors (C1,C2,C3,C4 or C12,C34) are mounted between the brush (45,46) holders (43,44) so as to minimize the length of the connecting leads (151,152;153) between said capacitors and the brushes, on the one side, and between said capacitors and said ground clamp (131), on the other side.
