Ground compacting for earth working and road construction

The ground compactions uses at least one inertia body (11) set in rotation inside a roller (1), pressing periodically against the gound surface (3). The deflection of the roller against the gound depends on the condition of the surface, independently of the effects of inertia bodies (11, 12), is such as to alter the effective mass of the roller.
