ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL TRUCK OPERATED BY DRAW-BAR

PURPOSE: To keep safety during operation by permitting an on-board operation when a stand platform is located in a use position and by locking movement of the platform toward a position outside the use position. ;CONSTITUTION: An end of a pivotable lever 12 is attached to each of both outsides of a stand platform 9 approximately parallel to a vertical axis line of a truck by a pin joint 13. When an operator boards the platform 9 to impose weight on a pedal 21, the pedal 21 descends and pushes an underfloor control switch. Thereby the switch supplies electric current to an electromagnet 18 with a control circuit, whereby a fixed pin 19 ejects to engage with a hole 20 of the pivotable lever 12. Accordingly it is possible to prevent an unintended erratic operation of an operation device located in the vicinity of a draw bar of the truck even during accidental movement of the stand platform.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
