ORCHESTRAL ACCOMPANIMENT DEVICE WITH SINGING EVALUATION DISPLAY FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To obtain the device which enables a singer to easily understand a correction place and is effective for the improvement of the singing ability by measuring the interval of the singer's voice as music advances, measuring the deviation from the interval of the played music, and displaying the measurement result. CONSTITUTION:An interval measuring means 2 measures the frequency of the voice inputted from a microphone 1 while referring to interval information transferred from a controller 3. Namely, the interval measuring means 2 extracts frequency components corresponding to the interval from the singing voice and measures the frequencies to measure the interval. The result is outputted to the controller 3, which outputs information to be displayed on a normal orchestral accompaniment device such as a background picture and a text and information, designed in format with which the singer can easily understand the measurement result of the interval measuring means 2, to a display means 6 in synchronism with the progress of the music. Then the display means 6 displays the deviation of the measurement result from the normal interval in, for example, graphic form with which the singer can easily recognize it.
