The ventilation system has a support (10) for the ventilator (20) and the solar module (26) realised from a part of the vehicle used for other purposes. The support is a part for opening and closing a hole in the vehicle's bodywork to connect the inside of the vehicle (= the passenger space) to the outside. The support and the solar module are the sliding roof of the vehicle or its sun roof, which may be a fluorescent collector. Alternatively, the support and the solar unit may be an air-spoiler mounted on the roof. The solar module has a device connecting it to other devices.
