The cap of the spray gun has fittings (5,6) to receive either type of cap. The fittings (5,6) are mounted on a support surface (9) and are connected through a system of pipes and valves to a pump (20) and an air supply pipe (23). The pump supplies a cleaning medium or paint solvent and the valves enable blasts or air to be alternated with pulses of cleaning medium or solvent. The cleaner is controlled by a control unit (10) which is equipped with a visual display unit. ADVANTAGE - Prevents damage to the orifices which can occur when mechanical cleaning methods are used.
